Jo anne

Jo Ford - Senior Officer

Jo's primary role is to look after and develop Skye and Lochalsh CVO. She supports community groups in their setup and development, represents the third sector in community planning forums and works with public bodies and agencies in developing effective community engagement.

When she is not working, Jo is a volunteer presenter for Cuillin FM and a very talented Halloween costume maker!

 

 

Sammy jo

Samantha-Jo McArthur - Volunteer Development Officer

Also known as Sammy-Jo, joined the staff at Tigh Lisigarry at the start of April 2014. Her main duties are dealing with office and membership services. She is also responsible for updating the news and events on the website. 

Her other role is now the volunteer development officer, working closely with groups, helping to manage their volunteer and working with individuals to help find them their volunteer role. Also manages the Saltire Award's for Skye & Lochalsh, which are the volunteering awards for those aged 12 - 25.  

Out with work, Sammy-Jo enjoys being included in fundraising for local charities. She is also a keen motor sport enthusiast and enjoys nothing more than spending time with her family. 

Steph

Steph Rossiter - Community Toolkit and Funding Support

Steph's main role is the development and editing of the Community Toolkit. She works closely with  Toolkit partners and information providers to ensure the resource meets the needs of the Third  Sector. She is also responsible for the marketing  and sale of the Community Toolkit which generates a significant income for the SLCVO. 

Steph also supports groups for funding. Steph can assist from finding suitable funders to writing and developing an application.

In her spare time, Steph enjoys all sports and is a keen runner, having taken part in her first Isle of Skye half marathon last year. She has one young son who keeps her very busy the rest of the time !
